Qualitynet Sinks Even Lower

I have received a call from Qualitynet this morning to inform me that they will terminate my account. Their reason was that I download too much.

Of course this is not the main reason, this is just like what happened back in June. They would offer services that they can NOT actually do, then blame you for it. Last June they introduced the 24 MB DSL account, but two months later they introduced their "fair usage policy" or in English, "We can't afford all this bandwidth."

I have been using the 8 MB Nitro package since last Sept. and this package can go up to 42 (or 48?) MB at around 4-6 am. It doesn't require a rocket scientist to figure out that someone paying for this package is going to be downloading loads of stuff no? They offer "UNCAPPED UNLIMITED FAST INTERNET" or so they say, but once you download a lot, they don't want your business anymore because they can not keep their word. (Of course, they never kept their word before.)

I have always had problems with them, when I reported them to their facebook page they would delete them. When I asked why not answer me instead of deleting them? they blocked me lol.

So if you have a contract then suddenly you can't pay, and need to terminate the contract, they would make you pay a fine for it. But if they can't give you the service you already paid for, it is okay for them to just terminate you?

But then again what would you expect from a company who bought their way up? :)

A Thief with a Bad Attitude

Salam,
Are you familiar with the exhibition going on in Kuwait University? Get2Gether?
Here is something weird, I never really expected anything like this even though I have heard of people stealing other people's work before.

This guy, is standing proud in his own booth in Get2Gether, selling designs he STOLE from a talented Kuwaiti designer called f2o Designs while he calls himself on twitter "BestDes_Q8i" which I figure means Best Designs, even though he stole them.

He was confronted, and his reply was "Oh I will be in the Down Town expo too, and I will keep selling those, and even for less than what f2o designs sells them for."

So he is a thief, stealing someone's design, selling it as his own, and even challenging the original owner that he can do whatever he wants. Then he wanted to create an excuse for himself.. and he made an excuse even more pathetic than his low self.

"You don't have the right to call me a thief, I did not go to her store and steal them. I got them off the internet! And 1/3 of my merchandise is my own design."

So if you steal something from the web then it is justifiable? Oh and you think I'd trust you with that 1/3? He probably stole them from somewhere else. And he admitted that 2/3 of the things he's selling are not his.

What kind of expo would want someone like that in?

How can you let such a person join you?
How can you agree to be in the same expo as he is?
How can you agree to look at his "work" and even buy from him?

You Should Know..

Salam,
Just thought you should know.. if you are someone who is NOT handicapped, and park in the handicapped parking spaces (represented by the sign above) then there are so many people, including me, who are praying that you get into a horrible accident that would make you need handicapped parking spaces.

And some more people would still pray that after that, you would find a jerk such as yourself, not handicapped, parking there while you, who have become handicapped after that accident, have to go to the farthest parking space.

I am sure that most of you are watching Arabs Got Talent, and don't get me wrong, I am a big supporter!
Even if what you see now is not THAT good, it is still the auditions phase.
What I'm going to show you is too good, but I don't wanna hear those negative comments about how we'd never be that good because I KNOW for sure that we've got some amazing talents here and there too.

Your Guide to the Best Photo Apps

I will be covering some nice photography apps for you to use on your smartphone.

From all the ones I tested, I find those to be the best out there!

After Focus

I have discovered this amazing app last night.
This is an app that every smartphone user who takes pictures should use! Even if you had a DSLR Camera, some pictures might not turn out the way you want them to be. You can use this app to help fix stuff.

This app lets you edit the focus area, and blurs the background for you just as if it was done by a good professional camera. Then you get access to some optional filters to add to the photo and you're done. It is very easy, fast, and gives amazing results!

Only downside at the moment is that the free version does not save photos in a large size. But the pro version which should be released in May will.

Touch Retouch

Another must have app. Touch Retouch does not enhance your photos through filters and such, but helps enhance the presentation of your photo.

Ever took a photo that you liked, but then found things in the background that would ruin it for you?

Well, this app takes care of that in an amazing magic-like way, all you need is 30 seconds to make your photo perfect.

It is so good that even when you see it in action, you still would not believe it.

Touch Retouch is available on the Play Store and the App Store.

Photo Art

I find this app to be the best for achieving shown in the picture above. Masking out the background, and applying color effects.

It is really worth it!

Cymera

Cymera is an app that you take pictures with, more like a second camera. The good thing about it is that it lets you choose what to focus on, and blur everything else. So you will not need to do any editing.. just take the photo and that's it. Very nice for portrait shots.
